Rumors about smartphones spread out every day. But most of them are about Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC M8 especially S5 as its one of the major smartphone release this year. Here is a sum up of all the rumors regarding to the most awaited smartphone of 2014.

First of all is that it will be available in two versions. One would be a “premium” version with aluminium body and the second one will be normal version with plastic body. As you may have already guessed, premium will be more expensive as compared to the normal one. Both the versions will have 5.3” 2K (2560 x 1440) display.

Second is the hardware. S5 would be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 6 (64 bit) chipset with speed still unknown. It would be paired with a 3GB of RAM and will be featuring a 16MP and 5MP rear and front camera respectively.

The smartphone will be running Android 4.4 (KitKat) topped with Samsung’s newer version of TouchWiz UI. The newer version of TouchWiz UI may have circular icons, the ones that were teased by Unpacked event’s invitation. It will have fingerprint sensor rather than an iris scanner which was officially announced by Samsung. It would have all the additional features of S4 like the air gestures, smart pause etc. 

Last but not least is its launch. S5 will be unveiled at the Unpacked event of Samsung that will take place on February 24 at MWC 2014.
