After Apple, MediaTek also joins the competition of 64 bit processor. Samsung too, will launch its 64 bit processor with Samsung Galaxy S5 which is rumored to be called Exynos Infinity. MediaTek's MT6732 chipset (64 bit) also supports LTE. The chipset features a 1.5GHz Quad-core processor ARM Cortex-A53 processor and a next-generation Mali-T670 GPU with high-end graphics. It also supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Advanced Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth
4.1, tri-band reception of GPS and GLONASS, and FM transceiver. The best thing is that its made of Pump Express fast charging technology which reduces phone charging time by half. And last but not least, it will be available by the third quarter of this year. MediaTek is also expected to announce new chipsets for mid-ranged devices ($79 - $399) very soon.
