Huawei announces two new tablets: MediaPad X1 and MediaPad M1

Huawei announced the two expected tablets at its press event just before MWC 2014. First one is the MediaPad X1 which is also happens to be the world's thinnest 7" tablet. And the second one is the MediaPad M1 which is an 8" tablet. Huawei
announced the world's thinnest smartphone at MWC 2013 and now announces world's thinnest 7" tablet at (you can say so) MWC 2014.

MediaPad X1:

First comes the MediaPAd X1. This tab is only 7.18mm thick (thinner than a lot of smartphones) with high end specs packed inside it. It comes with a 7" Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with a pixel density of 323ppi (pixels per inch). MediaPad X1 is a Quad-core (HiSilicon chipset) tablet with speed clocked at 1.6GHz and running Android 4.2 (JellyBean) topped by Emotion UI. It features a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. A 5,000mAh battery lies within the tab to provide enough power. And not to forget the 4G LTE connectivity. It will be available in the first quarter for a price of $549.

MediaPad M1:

MediaPad M1 is a multimedia and a mid-ranged tab designed to provide users with great entertainment. On the front sits an 8" (1280 x 800) IPS display and dual-frontal speakers with the support of DTS Surround System to provide crystal clear sound. Technical specs include 1.6GHz Quad-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 1MP front camera, 4G LTE connectivity and 4,800mAh battery. This tablet will also be running Android 4.2 (JellyBean) topped with Emotion UI. It would be available by next month with a price tag of $410.
