Nokia's so called "Android" powered smartphone line-up named as Nokia X, X+ and XL was previously announced at Mobile World Congress 2014. The phone has just been launched at Nokia's event that took place in Malaysia. And it has been priced at $120. The phone will start shipping by next week.
Only Nokia X has been launched. The other two members of the family -- X+ and XL -- won't get shipped. Well, not by the next week. Nokia didn't mentioned any release date of the other two handsets but they'll probably get released very soon.
Malaysian mobile market had a projected growth of 20% last year. And Nokia is doing good in low ranged handsets in Malaysia especially the Nokia Asha 205 and Asha 206. That could be the possible reason for the Malaysians to get the Nokia X before anyone.
