Apple CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Peter Oppenheimer will retire by the end of September

Apple CFO, Peter Oppenheimer, will be retiring from the company by the end of September this year. He will be signing his retirement papers after spending a period of 18 years of his lifetime for the company. He joined the company in 1998 and after getting promoted several times, finally in 2004 he was declared the CFO of Apple. He said that after spending 18 years with the company, its time for him to spend time with his family.

CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, said that Peter Oppenheimer boosted Apple annual sales from $8 billion to $171 billion. Apple's vice president of finance and corporate controller, Luca Maestri, will become the next CFO of Apple.
