Sony launches Xperia Z2 at Mobile World Congress

Sony Xperia Z2
Today, at Sony's MWC press event, Sony announced its upcoming flagship, Xperia Z2. According to Sony, this is the best premium smartphone from the company. The device features a 5.2” Full HD TRILUMINOS display for mobile with Live Colour LED to reproduce natural colors for sharpest viewing experience. Sony has built this display with the same technology that is used to make the Sony Bravia LEDs. The super resolution feature of the display produces the lacking pixel on its own for best clarity images. Just like the previous Xperia smartphones, this one is also water and
dust proof. The phone delivers excellent images with Sony's award winning 20.7MP “Exmor RS for mobile” camera. It can also be paired with Sony SmartBand SWR10. With the SmartBand connected to Z2, it will send all the data it "senses" with your movement. It will be available in three color: Black, White and Purple.

Additional features include 4K video capture, built-in camera apps, STAMINA mode, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Smart connect, 3D surround sound, "Walkman" application, Face Unlock and NFC. Even though the device offers a lot of features yet it's only 8.2mm thick.
