Dany Genius Tab G4 |
Dany has recently launched two new phablets in Pakistan. Guess what? Dany's new brand ambassador is Wasim Akram. And to relate the product with their ambassador, they have called these phablets "all-rounder" like those in cricket.
Genius Tab G4 features a 7" (600 x 1024) display with a pixel density of 170ppi and multi-touch support up to 5 fingers. It's also a dual-sim tab (one of the few). 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB memory (microSD card slot up to 8GB), 5MP Rear camera, 2MP Front camera are the features packed inside it. The device runs Android 4.2.2 (JellyBean) and comes with a price tag of PKR 13,900. Dany calls it a dual-usage phablet. First use is of a mobile phone and the second use is of tablet. The second use seems to be perfect but I can't really understand who would buy a 7" mobile that
gets hard to carry.

Dany Genius Tab G5 |
Coming to the Genius Tab G5. I don't know if you noticed it or not but it's extremely similar to the HTC One Max (can be a clone or something). Front and Back are almost same. The only difference I can see is that the camera is in square shape (One Max has a circular camera). And of course the Dany logo. Genius Tab G5 too has the same specs as that of G4 with some minor improvements. But still I'm going to repeat all the specs. The device comes with a 6.4" display (480 x 800) with a pixel density of 192ppi. Unlike G4, this phablet is faster because of the 1.3GHz dual-core processor that's rocking inside it being paired with 1GB of RAM (DDR3). This handset too is dual-sim but supports micro-sim only. Other features are 5MP Rear camera, 2MP Front camera, 8GB internal memory and runs Android 4.2.2 (JellyBean). This one too is priced at PKR 13,900.
Keeping the price in mind, both are great tablet especially G5. It delivers great style, great features in a great price. My preference would the G5. And yours?
