ZTE starts the Mobile World Congress 2014 event with the announcement of a Grand phablet named Grand Memo 2. The phablet would be available with LTE support. Mr. Zeng Xuezhong, CEO of ZTE, commented on the device that it has been made to fulfill the high demand of stylish phones while maintaining its high-end specs. ZTE Grand Memo 2 is thinner (7.2mm) as compared to its rival phablets.
The phone features an all new version (2.3) of ZTE's MiFavor UI. Users will be able to customize apps with the new Split Screens feature that comes with the UI. The handset comes with a 6" TFT LCD protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On top of that it runs Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). This device will follow the release pattern of its predecessor, Grand Memo, that was released last year at MWC which means it'll first hit the markets of China in
April followed by Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. Technical specs of the device are as follows:
