Samsung may announce a Windows Phone later this year

Looks like Nokia won't be the only one to be selling Windows Phone. Sony will be releasing their own Windows Phone in the mid of 2014 like announced earlier. And now, Samsung too will be joining the competition between Windows Phone like in Android devices. Samsung rumored device with model number SM-W750V turns out to be a Windows 8 Phone. It's also codenamed Huron. There wasn't much information on smartphone's release until evleaks tweeted
"Samsung SM-W750V will be a Windows Phone on Verizon. Codenamed Huron, it looks very similar to a late model Galaxy S."
Their tweet doesn't tell about its release date but suggests that the Windows Phone will be available from Verizon, which is one of the major mobile phone carriers based in US. Its specs are still
unknown except for that there have been some rumors about its display to be 5". evleaks tweet also revealed that its design will be very similar to the Galaxy S model. No other info on the device is known yet. That's why we'll just have to wait until there's any official word on it.

Update: Samsung's Windows Phone will be featuring the latest Windows which is yet to be released by Microsoft. The update of Windows 8 OS will be called Windows 8.1 just like on PC Windows.
