BlackPhone after being showcased at MWC 2014 goes on pre-order

BlackPhone was announced last month and was declared to be the first smartphone to offer full privacy controls. And now, at MWC 2014, BlackPhone's detailed are announced. The phone's specification aren't bad at all. It features a 4.7" HD IPS display, 2GHz Quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, 8MP rear camera and a front "high quality" camera (MP not specified). The phone will be running "Private OS". This OS is based on Android just like the other third party operating systems. The phone is specifically made for those who prefer to keep everything to themselves.


Some of the enhanced privacy options include Anonymous search, All privacy enabled bundled apps and Secure updates directly from BlackPhone. The device puts user privacy on top and considers privacy a premium and valued feature. It will come with built-in privacy apps like Silent Phone, Silent Texts, Silent Contacts, BlackPhone security center and BlackPhone Remote Wipe. A user can freely use public networks without the worry of being traced with this device.

The device is available for pre-order from BalckPhone's official website. The phone costs $629 (excluding the device shipment, taxes etc.) After including all the charges, its price will rise to $692. And if you want additional BlackPhone services for the next 2 years, then you'll have to pay a total amount of $1508 (You won't be charged of delivery charges if buying with BlackPhone services).
