Xiaomi Hongmi 1S goes official

Xiaomi has unveiled a successor of Hongmi called Hongmi 1S. Xiaomi is following Apple's strategy of launching very few devices in a year. Last year, Xiaomi launched only 4 smartphones which were quite successful. And in the name of the successor of a smartphone an "S" is added just like the Iphone. Hongmi 1S comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor (Cortex A7 chipset) clocked at 1.6GHz. The processor is backed up by 1GB RAM.
Furthermore, it has 4.7" IPS Retina Display, 8GB ROM (card slot up to 32GB), Dual-sim stand-by, 8MP Rear Camera with F 2.2 (Aperture size) capable of recording 1080p videos, 1.6MP front camera, M Hi-Fi sound system and runs Android 4.3 (JellyBean) topped with fifth version of Xiaomi's custom UI, MIUI V5. And the best part is its price. It has been priced at CNY (Chinese Yuan) 799 (about $132). This smartphone's price is similar to Motorola's Moto G but offers nearly double its specs.
