Microsoft needs to expand its Windows 8 OS in Smartphones if it wants to compete with Android OS. After taking the Finnish company Nokia, Microsoft needs other smartphone companies to expand its W8 OS. Word has been that it would be Sony that Microsoft will be targeting for their new WP, although it's not been officially announced. If it's true than it would probably be released in mid of 2014.
