Huawei operating profit jumps to 47% in 2013

Huawei is a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunication company founded in 1988. The company wasn't known by anyone a few years back. But today, Huawei is one of the leading mobile phone companies of the world. Huawei's CFO, Cathy Meng, has
reported its unaudited sales figures. Huawei's operating profit has jumped to 47% in 2013 as compared to 2012. The company was able to make a profit of 29.4 billion yuan ($4.8 billion) which is a huge jump for the company. She also stated that Huawei anticipated a revenue of 10% but could only make 8% in 2013. But they expect to achieve the same revenue milestone in 2014.
